Adam Fowler
Adam J. Fowler is an accomplished economist and founding partner at CVL Economics, where he specializes in the intersection of economic development and the creative economy. With a passion for fostering vibrant communities through the arts, Fowler has been at the forefront of designing and implementing creative placemaking initiatives and developing strategies to support creative talent pipelines. Fowler serves as a board member for the Center for Non-Profit Management and is on the California Arts Council (CAC) Creative Economy Workgroup and the Entertainment Industry Foundation's (EIF) Careers Program Advisory Council, where he chairs the Data and Research Working Group. He is also an active member of the Entertainment Equity Alliance (EEA), working towards promoting diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry. As an educator, Fowler shares his knowledge and experience by teaching strategic planning as part of the Economic Development Program at Fresno State University and recently presented on the state of global television and digital media production to the California Film Commission. Fowler's research, thought leadership, and expert commentary have garnered significant attention from leading media outlets, including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg, the San Francisco Chronicle, and National Public Radio – where his insights contribute to the national conversation on the role of the creative economy in driving economic growth and community development.
