Gabe Alvarez
Gabe is a Queens kid at heart, born in Colombia and raised in Sunnyside since age five. Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he's spent his life moving through spaces where Black and Brown men carried a lot but rarely had room to talk about it. Growing up around men who treated emotions as a weakness, Gabe spent years tucking that part of himself away. Eventually he recognized it as the muscle he actually needed. That shift, and the conversations it unlocked, became the foundation for YOU GOOD?, a conversation card deck built for people ready to go deeper with the people they trust. He believes stronger friendships start with honest ones. And that you deserve that at every age.
