Jonathan Zwickel

Jonathan Zwickel lives and writes in Seattle. Over the course of a 25-year career, his journalism has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, the San Francisco Chronicle, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, SPIN, the Seattle Times, City Arts Magazine and elsewhere (support local journalism!). He’s Senior Communications Strategist for Loka, an AI engineering firm, and has provided executive ghostwriting and communications strategy for T-Mobile, Microsoft, the Bezos Family Foundation, Sub Pop Records and others. He's the creator of the 2024 NPR podcast Let the Kids Dance!, a top-10 Apple Podcast series, and author of Beastie Boys: A Musical Biography, published by Greenwood Press in 2012.
