Seven Sky

Seven Sky Spillios has spent nearly a decade working exclusively in Seattle’s music industry, bringing wide-ranging perspectives informed by deep involvement across the scene. A prolific composer, Seven has been commissioned to write for numerous ensembles such as string quartet, saxophone octet, full orchestra, and many more. He regularly plays a role in preparing scores for symphonies nationwide, including Seattle Symphony. As an arranger, Seven has added auxiliary elements such as horns and strings to the live and recorded projects of dozens of local Seattle bands and artists. His contributions earned him a voting membership with the Recording Academy (the Grammys) in 2024. Through several local studios and schools, he has taught dozens of students saxophone, flute, clarinet, theory and composition. His passion for teaching and communication have also led him to be an effective artist manager, managing tours, copyright, releases and more for an artist, who at one time, was Seattle's largest music TikTok-er and has accured over 20 million streams across streaming platforms. Seven currently serves as the President of the Seattle Composers Alliance, a 27-year-old organization dedicated to supporting all types of music creators through community, education, and opportunity-centric programming. SCA concerts engage not only the featured music creators, but also the broader public, illuminating today's talent to Seattleites and regularly selling out local venues such as the Triple Door and Royal Room. On an individual level, Seven continues to collaborate with, advise, and uplift local music creators of all types. On behalf of the Seattle Composers Alliance, he maintains strong relationships with local organizations, coalitions, and businesses to strengthen Seattle's national competitiveness as a destination for music creators, and to support a thriving and vibrant creative economy.
